Is it suitable for my business?

If you are an autmotive supplier, you can use the EDI module to receive forecasts, schedules and manifests from your customers and to create ASNs for each outgoing vehicle.

If your customers send you schedules as a spreadsheet, we can easily configure FIS to read sales order lines and forecasts from the spreadsheet.

You can send purchase orders and forecasts to your suppliers using automotive protocols such as EDIFACT and VDA.

You can send purchase orders and schedules to your suppliers as spreadsheets.

Honda EDI

FIS accepts Honda forecasts in the form of EDIFACT DELFOR messages.

FIS accepts Honda schedules in the form of EDIFACT DELINS messages.

FIS accepts Honda manifests in the form of EDIFACT DELJIT messages.

FIS creates and sends automatically an EDIFACT ASN to Honda when a despatch note is confirmed.

Toyota EDI

FIS accepts Toyota forecasts in the form of EDIFACT DELFOR messages.

Jaguar Land Rover EDI

FIS accepts Jaguar Land Rover schedules from both older plants which use VDA messages, and newer plants which run SAP and use EDIFACT messages.

FIS creates and sends automatically a VDA ASN to Jaguar Land Rover when a despatch note is confirmed.

Nowadays, customers often send schedules in the form of a spreadsheet by email

We have configurable tools which will open a spreadsheet within FIS and create a sales order from the data in the spreadsheet.

FIS can export purchase order schedules as a spreadsheet to suit your suppliers.
